Words on Relationships

Welcome to my website. Here you will find inspiration and stories about relationships through books, speaking engagements, and my blog, The Relationship Resource Center.

You have found a site for happy and heavy hearts. Do you struggle with restlessness, fear or loneliness? Then, you have found the right place. It helps to know we’re not alone in a crisis or enjoying a mountaintop experience by ourselves. Sometimes we need someone to listen, share our joys or simply encourage us. Relationships go back to the beginning of time, the very thing at the center of God’s heart─ love and relationships.

Good communication is an important part of all relationships. The Relationship Resource Center is a blog where we can communicate. A connection to each other has the power to change us.

Together let’s jump over obstacles to restore or rebuild relationships. Some life experiences can impact a person’s ability to trust. Mistrust interferes with relationships. Despair and lack of hope can also cause worry or sadness. Knowledge and past experiences shared can lead us to find hope.

If you’re a follower of Christ, we will stand in our faith together. If you’re not a Christian, love will guide us.

The following is a quote from The Relationship Dance book. “There is no perfect relationship here on Earth, but we can find ways to improve how we love.” Love is a commandment. Sometimes I struggle with people who are hard to love. So, first, I love God. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.” That makes things easier. The next verse is equally important: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” There is no commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:30-31(NIV)

“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV)

Let’s strengthen our relationships skills together and make every day a better relationship day.
